On Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 just before 9:00 pm, a robbery occurred at the Valero gas station located on the 2400 block of W. Tahoe Ave. in Caruthers.
Two masked men wearing hoodies entered the store, one held a knife and the other had a gun. The man with the knife forced the clerk towards the cash register. They demanded the clerk open the till, which allowed the suspects to steal an undisclosed amount of money. They left the store and headed in an eastern direction. The clerk was not injured.
Both suspects are described as being approximately 5’6”, 175 lbs.
