On Thursday, California Attorney General Kamala Harris held her Zone V (five) Meeting at the Clovis Veteran's Memorial District.
Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims co-hosted the event. Law enforcement leaders from all over the Central Valley attended the 2 1/2 hour presentation. The discussion focused on matters such as child education and technology. AG Harris emphasized the importance of local law enforcement communicating with state and federal agencies to improve public safety.
AG Harris took a moment to show Sheriff Mims and Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp some of the latest tools the Department of Justice is using to fight crime.
