The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the name of a man wanted in connection with the BB gun shooting of another man earlier this month.
The suspect is 19 year old Dylan Stancoff.
On the morning of January 21st, deputies were dispatched to the parking lot of Table Mountain Casino regarding a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The deputy discovered the man had been shot in the nose with a BB gun. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victim initially stated he had met the suspect inside the casino and agreed to give him a ride to Auberry. While in the victim’s car, the suspect pulled out a BB gun and shot the victim in the nose. The suspect then fled on foot. The victim drove to a nearby home on Millerton Road and told the resident he had been shot. The homeowner immediately called the Sheriff’s Office and helped transport the victim back to the casino parking lot to meet with deputies.
The subsequent investigation has identified Stancoff as the shooter. He is now wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.
Stancoff is described as a white male, 5’7”, 135 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. Stancoff was last seen driving a light colored four door vehicle. His last known address is on the 25500 block of Auberry Rd. However, deputies believe he is now staying somewhere in the city of Clovis. The BB gun has not been recovered and Stancoff may also have a shotgun.
