The Fresno County Sheriff – Coroner’s Office needs the public’s help locating relatives of Antonio Alvaro Arcos.
The 30-year-old is described as 5’2”, 125 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He also went by the name of Juan Carlos Guzman Arcos. He was a known transient in Huron. Arcos never mentioned to anyone that he had family in the area. It’s possible he is originally from Chiapas, Mexico.
On May 1st, 2016, Arcos was found deceased at a homeless encampment located in a field near Lassen Ave. and Corte Way in Huron. He appears to have died from natural causes, but an exact cause of death is still pending.
Staff at the Coroner’s Office have searched numerous personal records, but their attempts to find his relatives have been unsuccessful. Locating immediate family members is a necessary process in order for the Coroner’s Unit to release the body and allow the person to have a proper burial.
