The 10th annual May Day! May Day! Have a Safe and Healthy Summer event was bigger than ever this year.
This fun and educational event held at Chukchansi Park taught 1st and 2nd grade students water safety, injury prevention, hand hygiene and more. Children from elementary schools throughout our region moved around the stadium visiting booths and learning safety tips through interactive and engaging presentations. The event brings to a grand conclusion three days of classroom learning.
May Day! May Day! relies on hundreds of volunteers. Nurses, fire fighters, paramedics, police officers and others with safety information to share make learning an adventure during the popular event.
