At 4:00 am on February 7, 2017, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of a home invasion robbery.

This occurred at a home on the 3400 block of E. Lincoln Ave. in Fresno.  A group of masked men, armed with guns, broke into the home as the family was sleeping.  The suspects tied up the father and forced the mother and her three children into another room while they ransacked the house.  After approximately 15 minutes, the suspects left the home.  They stole cash, guns and electronic devices.  The victims were not injured.

Property crimes detectives with the Sheriff’s Office began to investigate the case. On February 23rd, detectives served search warrants at different locations. Detectives contacted and arrested three suspects in the cities of Fresno and Clovis. All are believed to be responsible for the home invasion robbery. Detectives also seized six guns, ammunition, a large amount of cash, four pounds of processed marijuana and ¼ pound of cocaine. This remains an ongoing investigation.

The suspects arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail are Miguel Soto (23), Jose Soto (20), Clarence Clark (22).  Miguel and Jose Soto are brothers.  Miguel Soto faces felony charges of robbery, drug possession, possession of stolen property, possession of a gun by a felon and probation violation.  He has a bail of $377,500.  However, the probation violation charge is not eligible for bail.  Jose Soto faces one felony charge of robbery.  His bail has been set at $250,000.  Clarence Clark faces one felony charge of robbery.  His bail has been set at $250,000, but he is not eligible for bail on the parole hold.
