On Wednesday, Sex Crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57 year old Richard Manning of Stockton.
He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of failing to register his home address and possession of child pornography.
Earlier this week, the Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Richard Manning was living at a home on the 10700 block of E. Herndon Ave. in Clovis. Detectives investigated this tip by visiting the house and contacting Manning. Records showed Manning is a registered sex offender who is supposed to be staying in the Stockton area. He was released from prison in 2015 after serving a term for possessing child pornography. Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) searched Manning’s electronic devices and found them to contain child pornography. He was arrested for that crime, along with being out of compliance for not having a current residential address on file with law enforcement.
