On Wednesday afternoon, Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives and members of the SWAT team served a search warrant at a home on the 39500 block of Clover Lane in Squaw Valley.  Detectives had information that Frank Rodrigues had property taken from recent burglaries in the area and he was storing it in the house.  They discovered two stolen guns and a marijuana grow consisting of approximately 150 plants.

Information obtained at the Clover Lane address took detectives to the 37500 block of Shadybrook Lane.  At this location, detectives found two vehicles which were stolen during a residential burglary.

While detectives were at the Shadybrook location, dispatchers received a report of a suspicious vehicle near Bobcat and Longview Road.  Patrol deputies responded and found the vehicle parked at a home on the 47100 block of Sassafras Lane. They saw Rodrigues run and a search of the area was conducted with the help of K9 units and the Sheriff’s Office helicopter, Eagle 1.  Deputies eventually found Rodrigues hiding inside an abandoned house trailer and he was arrested without incident.  Detectives also recovered a third stolen vehicle in the area associated to Rodrigues.

Anyone with information on Rodrigues or Ash is asked to the Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867).
