On June 5th, at approximately 1:30 pm, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery.
It occurred at the Valentine Market located at 1414 S. Valentine Ave. in Fresno. A masked man entered the store and pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the clerk. The robber demanded cash. He continued by walking around the register and ordering the clerk to take the money out of the register and put it in a bag. The gunman then pointed his gun at another store employee before leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen leaving the parking lot in a dark blue BMW sedan. Fortunately, no one suffered any injuries in this case.
The suspect is described as being a black man, 5’6" – 5’11” tall and weighing 180 – 200 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a medical mask and gloves.
