Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are attempting to identify and locate a man caught on camera trying to use a stolen credit card to make a purchase at a store.
On either January 12th or 13th, someone broke into a car parked on Weldon Ave in Fresno’s Mayfair District. Miscellaneous items were stolen, including a debit card. At 5:00 am on January 13th, a man attempted to use that stolen card to purchase donuts at a shop located near First and McKinley Ave. in Fresno. After the transaction was declined, the man left the store.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect who appears to be Hispanic, in his 20s or 30s, with an average build and a mustache. He was seen wearing a tan colored jacket, dark red beanie and was carrying a blue backpack.
