On Monday, May 18th, Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Fresno will open its doors and hearts to children and adults with developmental disabilities to raise money and public awareness for Special Olympics Northern California.

The restaurant will provide FREE lunch to its customers.  Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims and deputies will be on hand as celebrity waiters to help serve beverages, collect donations and speak with customers about Special Olympics.  All tips collected will benefit athletes.

The event takes place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Texas Roadhouse is located at 3190 W. Shaw Avenue in Fresno.

This is a Tip-A-Cop event for 2015 and promises to be part of a successful year of fundraising for Special Olympics Northern California.  

The free food includes a pulled pork sandwich, French fries, rolls and a soda.
