On the evening of May 11th, Fresno County Jail inmate, Jeremiah Espino of Sanger, died at Community Regional Medical Center.
The 52-year-old Espino had been in critical care since suffering severe injuries during the April 17th gas explosion and fire at the Sheriff’s Foundation Gun Range.
Two other inmates and the county equipment operator injured from the blast remain in the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office will not have any further comment on this matter due to the ongoing investigation and pending litigation of this case.
