1/30/17 - The homicide victim has been identified as Francisco Acosta, 68, of Huron.
1/29/17 - Around 9:30 am on Sunday, officers with the Huron Police Department responded to a shots fired call on the 16000 block of 14th Street in Huron.
Witnesses reported that it was a drive by shooting. Officers arrived and found a man in his 60s who had been shot while inside his house. The man died at the scene. Huron Police requested the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office take over the investigation. FSO homicide detectives and members of its crime scene unit responded to collect evidence and interview witnesses. No arrests have been made.
