Monday morning, Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives arrested 29 year old Terrence Boston of Fresno.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail for the murder of his 32 year old girlfriend, Brittney Taylor of Fresno. He is facing a charge of murder, which carries a $1 million bail. He also in jail on two warrants. One is for spousal abuse and the other is for making criminal threats. He is not eligible for bail on these warrants.
On Sunday, May 6th around 6:45 am, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shots fired call in the area of Olive and Cornelia Avenues in Fresno. While driving to the intersection, deputies received a report that a red Hyundai Sonata car had crashed into a tree in this same area. Deputies first to arrive at the scene removed the woman driver (Brittney Taylor) from the wrecked car to perform CPR, however, she was deceased. A closer examination showed the woman had been struck by multiple bullets. Deputies sealed off the area as a crime scene and requested homicide detectives respond.
Detectives interviewed witnesses and discovered a man (later identified as Terrence Boston) and Taylor were talking at the corner of Olive and Cornelia. A short time later, shots were fired and Taylor sped away in her car. Boston left the area driving a white semi-truck. Taylor crashed into a tree moments later. Deputies canvassing the area were unable to find Boston and his truck.
Early Monday morning, deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle and inside they found Boston. He was taken into custody, interviewed and booked into jail.
