Jesus Capuchin

Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office have arrested 36 year old Jesus Capuchin of Fresno. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of murder, as well as spousal abuse, for which he had outstanding warrants.

Capuchin is accused of shooting and killing 30 year old Raodel Ruvalcaba of Fresno. The two men knew each other. The motive has not been established.

Shortly after Ruvalcaba’s death, detectives developed information that Capuchin was responsible for the shooting. Thursday morning they learned of Capuchin's whereabouts, found him and arrested him.

Around 5:30 pm on Wednesday, November 27th, Fresno County Sheriff's dispatchers received a call of an assault with a deadly weapon with shots fired on the 3100 block of W. McKinley Ave. in Fresno. Deputies arrived and found a man, approximately 30 years old, outside on the ground with injuries. Deputies began CPR and then firefighters and paramedics arrived and took over. The man (Raodel Ruvalcaba) was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives and the Crime Scene Unit responded and began to collect evidence and interview witnesses.
