Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Sex Crimes Unit have arrested 29 year old Armando Pena of Huron. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges, which include sex acts with a child under 10. His bail is set at $1.215 million.
On January 6th, the Sheriff’s Office received reports regarding three young children who have recently suffered sexual abuse. The children identified Armando Pena as the man responsible for committing the crimes against them. Pena is not a relative of the children, but knows their family members well.
On January 9th, deputies assigned to the Fresno County Adult Compliance Team (ACT), found Pena near the intersection of Lassen and 10th Street in Huron. Deputies arrested him.
Pena is currently on Post Release Community Supervision, which is part of AB 109. He was released from prison in August of 2017, where he had been serving time robbery / auto theft convictions.
