3/29/17 - Fresno Police officers located Dao Vang and have safely returned him to his family. Thank you for everyone's help in this matter.
3/28/17 - Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies spent all of Monday searching for a missing “at-risk” man, but were unsuccessful.
Deputies searched by ground patrol, air patrol and members of our Search & Rescue (SAR) Team used tracking dogs to try and find Dao Yang, 40, of Clovis. He has been missing since 9:30 am on Sunday, March 26th. He was last seen at a home on the 9300 block of N. Fowler Ave. in Clovis. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, dark colored shoes and a camouflage hat. Yang is Asian, 5’6”, 160 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.
3/27/17 - Dao Yang, 40, of Clovis has been missing since 9:30 am on Sunday, March 26th. He was last seen at a home on the 9300 block of N. Fowler Ave. in Clovis. Yang has reportedly been diagnosed with diminished mental capacity and has other underlying medical conditions which require him to take medication.
Yang is known to frequent the Walmart shopping center at Herndon and Clovis Avenues, as well as restaurants near Armstrong and Fowler Avenues. Members of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are currently searching the surrounding area to try and find him.
Detectives are asking for the public to keep an eye out for anyone matching his description so he can be safely returned to his family. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dao Yang is asked to immediately contact the Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111.
