Joseph Carpio, 40, of Fresno has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on a felony charge of being a felon in possession of a gun.
On Thursday, members of MAGEC (Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium), Fresno County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, Fresno Police SWAT, Clovis Police and ACT (Adult Compliance Team) worked together to serve three search warrants as part of a gang investigation. The Fresno locations they visited were on the 1900 block of E. Edith Drive, 7000 N. Farris Ave. and 1900 E. Home Ave.
Deputies and officers arrested Carpio, a known gang member, at one of the locations. During their searches, they also seized three guns, cash, methamphetamine and packaging used for selling drugs.
