Deputies have booked 65 year old Mario Rosales of Parlier into the Fresno County Jail on charges of murder and attempted murder.
Around 7:15 pm on Saturday, June 23rd, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance between a group of men. One man, later identified as Mario Rosales, had a knife and was trying to stab others. This took place at a home on Tuolumne Street in Parlier, between K St. and J St. Parlier Police officers arrived and found three men with stab wounds. One had been killed, the other was seriously hurt and transported to the hospital and the third had minor injuries. He was treated at the scene. Officers took Rosales into custody.
Parlier Police requested sheriff’s detectives respond to the scene to take over the investigation. A motive for the stabbings has not been determined. This remains an ongoing investigation.
The name of the man killed is not available for release. Family members must still be notified of his death.
