It was around 12:30 am on September 28, 2017, 54 year old Arthur Martinez was found with a severe head injury. He was discovered lying in an open area on the property of 636 N Vineland Ave. in Kerman. He was transported to the hospital, went into a coma for two weeks, then passed away. Detectives then took over this case and treated it as a homicide investigation.
Arthur Martinez lived on the property where he was found, but it is unclear if this is where his injuries occurred.
