4/11/18 - Technicians with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit have identified the two people involved in Monday’s investigation in Kerman. They are Victor Robles, 32, of Kerman and Karla Rodriguez Manzano, 32, of Kerman. They were an estranged husband and wife.
4/9/18 - Shortly after 11:30 am on Monday, people living in a neighborhood on the 800 block of S. 3rd Street in Kerman reported seeing a man in a yard stabbing himself.
As Kerman Police were responding to the scene, the man went inside a nearby house. Officers arrived and entered the home. Inside they found a deceased woman and a man who had suffered significant injuries. EMS transported the man, but during the drive to the hospital he passed away.
Kerman Police officers closed off the surrounding area and requested Fresno County Sheriff’s homicide detectives respond to the scene to take over the investigation.
Detectives arrived along with members of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit. They canvassed the area, collected evidence and spoke with potential witnesses. There is a possibility this case is a murder – suicide, however, detectives have not drawn any definite conclusions.
The man and woman, both in their early 30s, have not yet been identified. Autopsies will be scheduled on both in the near future.
