Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested Tat Chan, 52, and Zhisheng Huang, 44.

Both men are from West Covina, CA.  They were booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of drug possession and intent to sell drugs. They have since posted bond and bailed out of jail.

On March 24th at around 3:00 pm, a Sheriff’s deputy on patrol stopped a car for a traffic violation on Interstate 5, near W. Derrick Ave.  During the deputy’s conversation with the driver and passenger, he smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  The deputy searched the vehicle and found dozens of vacuumed sealed plastic bags containing processed marijuana, which totaled 59 lbs.
